Certification FAQ (Organisations)
Answers for organisations exploring Sacred Logic™ Charter Mark certification.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Sacred Logic™ Charter Mark?
A voluntary certification that shows an AI system has been assessed against Sacred Logic's Human Values Framework and meets a given tier's bar for trustworthy, human-aligned AI. It's an Article 95 code-of-conduct certification, not a statutory EU AI Act conformity assessment.
How do Organisations benefit from Sacred Logic certification?
Consumers increasingly mistrust A.I. Certification demonstrates a genuine organisational commitment to provide safer, human centred technology, measured against a clear 10 point charter. There is a human review of every single Charter Mark awarded. Always.
Is Sacred Logic Certification available outside the European Union?
Yes, building Trust in AI is a universal problem so Sacred Logic provides a universal certification solution — a voluntary trust certification, valid worldwide, and not a substitute for any local regulatory approval. All certification correspondence including proofs must be in English. Sacred Logic operates under Irish and EU law.
Is certification a legal requirement under the EU AI Act?
No. It's voluntary. It's designed to demonstrate good practice and build trust with customers and partners, alongside (not instead of) whatever statutory obligations apply to your specific AI system under the Act.
What is the Compliance Fast Track?
A shorter certification route for organisations that already hold EU AI Act conformity. The Human Values Framework's first seven points align closely with what the Act (and GDPR) already address, so if you can evidence existing conformity — a CE mark plus EU Declaration of Conformity, an ISO/IEC 42001 certificate, or a signed self-declaration — you complete only framework points 8, 9 and 10: the authorship/IP, cultural-diversity and lifecycle-stewardship areas.
Benefits
- Far less to assemble — three combined proofs instead of ten.
- A faster route to a Charter Mark.
- No duplication of the work you've already done for the Act.
- Lower cost and effort of preparation.
- Your public register entry shows the basis you relied on openly (e.g. “ISO/IEC 42001 (declared)” or “self-declared”) and states that only points 8–10 were Sacred Logic™ assessed.
Limitations and conditions
- Open only to organisations that genuinely already meet their EU AI Act obligations.
- Sacred Logic™ performs a documentary check of your credential, not a re-audit of your Act conformity, and does not verify or warrant that conformity — it remains your responsibility.
- A self-declared basis is shown as such and carries less external assurance than a CE mark or ISO 42001 certificate.
- The mark still requires the same human validation of points 8–10 before it is issued.
- It does not lower the standard applied to points 8–10.
How do I get started?
Run the free self-assessment first — it takes about five minutes and needs no account. It gives you a readiness score and a recommended Charter Mark tier based on your answers. If you already hold EU AI Act conformity, choose that option at the start to use the Compliance Fast Track.
What does the free self-assessment involve?
A short set of questions covering your AI system's risk classification under the EU AI Act and how well it meets the Human Values Framework's ten points. At the end you get a risk level, a readiness score, and a recommended next step.
What happens after I complete the self-assessment?
You'll see a recommendation — anything from "not eligible" to a specific Charter Mark tier. Any tier shown at that stage is provisional; a mark is only actually issued after a human validation step, not from the self-assessment alone.
Do I need to register before I can see pricing?
Yes. Charter Mark pricing sits behind a short organisation registration (name, sector, size, address, and a primary contact) so we know who we're certifying. The free self-assessment doesn't require this — only pricing and checkout do.
Is paying the subscription the same as being certified?
No. Subscribing starts your certification relationship with Sacred Logic™ and covers the annual fee for your tier, but the mark itself is only issued once a human validation step confirms your system actually meets that tier's bar.
How is my organisation's data kept separate from consumer/end-user data?
Organisation and B2B contact data live in entirely separate records from the free consumer portal's data — they're never merged or cross-shared. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
How do I update my organisation's details or delete my account?
Once registered, use your account page to view, correct, or request erasure of your details at any time. If your organisation has active billing or certification history, we keep the business record but clear your personal contact information on request.
